Windows 7 with multiple touchscreen

Hoping someone knows how to do this:
    I've 2 touchscreen digitizers and 2 monitors on Windows7.

Each digitizer can handle 10 input points.

They have different names / PIDs, and both show up as HID devices under control panel.

They are both working and passing touch info.

    But:
    1) Windows reports that there are 10 touch points available (not 20)
    2) If I touch them separately, all the touch points show up on monitor 1
    3) If I touch both, the second doesn't appear

Is there a wizard / configuration setting somewhere that lets you configure your digitizers / monitors setup?

    Any other suggestions?

A weird thing to try , more for touch screen monitors though
if the second monitor is to the left of the main monitor then it will have negative co-ordinates which some drivers don't like - try it on the right hand side instead

    usual update drivers etc

Yes, its a weird thing to try.
I'm working on firmware development for touchscreen digitizers, so have to assume somebody will try every possible nutjob configuration.

It is on the right, Win 7 doesn't seem to let you put the secondary monitor on the left at all.
Thing is - the digitizer spec for Win 7 doesn't include any 'offset' option to allow for a second touchscreen. It scales your reported resolution to the primary display.

I *thought* that with 2 digitizers / monitors connected there would be some configuration to match them - i.e. Windows would apply an offset to the touch data from the second one. As the monitors are VGA/DVI and the digitizers are USB, this can't be looked after by the hardware.
