    Does anyone know where i can buy chestnuts ive looked around a few big supermarkets but nothing,

    I saw them in the specialist food shop next to Bijou restaurant in Rathgar.

    If you're looking for fresh, I'd have said they're out of season.

    Definitely not out of season, I'm travelling through Spain and Portugal at the moment and the shops there are full of them. Plenty of stalls selling roast chestnuts on the streets too.

    I enquired about some at my local fruit & veg. shop today (my dad loves them) the guy made a phone call and told me he'd have some on Monday.

    noo... like them to be fresh so we can put them in the oven and eat them hot as possible :D thanks any how.

    The Runner Bean on Nassau street often have them coming up to christmas I got some there last year anyway, I should be passing by later can check.

    Any advice on cooking them, I tried to last year but they didn't turn out the best
