For the love of God don't let the truth get in the way of a good rumour.

From what I can gather they have been in talks alright. I think a potential stumbling block may be that IKEA want exclusive selling rights meaning the jersey would only be available in their store in Ballymun.

Will the jersey come in 4 different pieces that you have to stitch together yourself ?? :pac::pac::pac:

Perfect match. Both need a bit of time to put together, look good on paper, and collapse in a heap when put under pressure:D

Not sure how true the rumour is but regardless of who it is they'd want get their skates on, seeing as the county board said they wanted the new jerseys out in time for the Christmas market.

New sponsors and jersey won't be until the middle of Jan. The christmas deadline was Nov 1st, long since passed.
However, Gerry Harrington, the Dublin GAA chairman, has admitted that it is not a cause of concern.

"There's plenty of talking going on but at the end of the day it's all about hard cash," Harrington said.

Harrington went on to say that having no new Dublin merchandise in the shops before the Christmas period was not a worry.

"With the recession, families are being hit hard," he remarked.

"In the New Year, please God, things might pick up and families may have that bit more to spend."
