Does all your internet browsing affect your usage limit?

Is it just downloading songs, movies, etc, or does just watching RTE player and Youtube videos count towards your limit too?? Checking emails? online shopping?

Sorry if this seems like a retarded question, but im moving home from abroad where we never had any usage limits at all, or mobile internet, so im clueless. :(

And if you go over your limit on a PAYG option, how exactly do they charge you for your extra usage? They say in most cases its 2c per mb after your limit, but how do they charge you? a bill in the post? deduction next time you top up?

Mobile internet is just going to be a temporary option for us, until we move into a permanent residence after Christmas, but i would love to know what it involves so i can choose the best option. ;)

    thanks

Everything is included, and often upload too.

    I thought as much. :(

Boy we had it good here, though the speed was rubbish and they blocked the most ridiculous sites, like flickr! Im in the ME.

Oh well, will just have to suffer it i suppose.

    Thanks.

The lot. Upload + download combined. Anything you send/receive counts.

It depends. If you go well over, your session will be cut short. If you just go a quid or 2 over in a given session, it'll come out of your next top up. It varies, though, as to how much you can go over in a given session.
