Hi does anyone know if Vrt rate drops when new year comes in or is it on the birthday of the car ? For example if the car is April , will the VRT rate drop considerably in January ?

    Why not check it yourself:

Try a year younger and a year older car on there.

They do tend to randomly (well, it seems random as there's never an indication as to why) change their pricing/value on certain cars from one week to the next.

So you may get a different quote tomorrow, for example, if you put in the exact same details as you did today. Therefore, they may even revise things again between now and the new year.

I find it hard to anticipate anything the VRT crowd do!

I have checked it on the year older etc calculator, but am not sure that this is an accurate method of checking.:o
