COD movie scenes

    Just watching 'Shooter' on the box (Marc Wahlberg), bit meh but watchable.

    A few of the scenes reminded me strongly of some COD:MW2 maps,
    specifically a shoot-out at a country house which was uncanningly reminiscent of 'Estate' in MP. Snipers, ghillie suits, balconies, out-houses, spec ops, helicopters, flash bangs, even a token Russian!

    'Blackhawk Down' is obviously in there, so too the shower scene from 'The Rock', maybe 'The Hurt Locker' from recent times.

    Any other TV/movie scenes out there that have crept into COD games by accident or design I ask?

    Red Dawn would have inspired a few levels, as seen in the level called Wolverines.
    And I think there was an achievement with the same movie title.

    Which bit was from Hurt Locker? Never saw the film.

    The snow mobile chase was a bit James Bondish.

    The jump across the ravine drained the game off all credibility before it even got off the ground. Pardon the pun.

    Anyone watch Generation Kill? Quality show. More than once while playing cod I was thinkin that it was a serious coincidence, or they 'took inspiration' from the show!
    The whole 'danger close' bit was one example.

    The Hurt Locker has them bomb disposal suits that the juggernaughts wear. Though they are far less nimble and don't carry LMG.

    Would defo agree with the Generation Kill comparison. Especially in the Humvees at the start of the game.

    Favela felt like City of God. Lots of bits felt like a piece from a bond movie,
    eg using mini subs to assault an oilrig
