I got the latest Expert Electrical advert through my door today and I noticed that they are highlighting some of their TV's as Irish Digital TV Ready.

I haven't seen any other retailer do that.

Powercity have, both on adverts and instore.

They, however, don't do it for a rake of TVs they sell that are ready! My discounted end-of-line Samsung from the summer and a newer one a friend of my father's bought last weekend both work fine, no notices, staff hadn't a clue.

I notice Tesco belatedly putting up "Freeview not available in ROI" notices besides their digital TVs. I wonder how many complaints they received before they decided to do this?
