    Firstly a tip ,if youve got your renewal form could be wise to pay online asap with budget around the corner...Secondly I was surprised that when paying the family's second car tax renewal , minutes (maybe as little as 2) after the first payment FIFTY transactions had been carried out according to the Transaction Number...Motortax.ie is obviously taking in a lot of dough for the tax man.

    I got mine in the post today. It's up for renewal from January 1st.
    However, the increases will also take place on January 1st - I'll be holding tight until next Wednesday and if there are big increases announced, I'll be paying straight away!!!
