    Hey,

Quick question, I'm just wondering does anyone have a rough idea how much it would cost to get my break pads changed on a 00' SEAT Arosa. Just trying to see would it be worth my while putting off getting them changed till christmas when I will be home and can get the local mechanic to do them. Although I'd rather not put it off much longer as they are fairly screaming at the moment.

    Thanks

If they're 'screaming' any potential saving getting it done 'back home' would
be offset by potential damage to the brake discs. I wouldn't wait.

€25 for pads, and another €20 to €200 for labour.

If they're screeching at all, you'll need brake discs and brake pads. Discs probably around €60, pads roughly €30, labour as said above €20-€200!!

Probably looking at €200 in total

Not if they have just started making noise. Most (all?) pads have wear indicators built-in which will make noise long before the pads are worn down to the backing.
