Could anyone tell me what I could expect to pay for a co ownership agreement? Solicitor has quoted €400 + VAT seems a bit excessive

How much are you going to sue the solicitor for if it goes wrong? You should ensure that you put all of your requirements to the solicitor in writing and get written advices about your proposed course of action. €400 plus VAT for a document you can sue on is dirt cheap.
