Looking for advice form those who know about masters in business in D.C.U. abotu choosing which one id like to do. Have a big interest in the financial world but not much experience- recently got a law degree and have been working in a bank.

Looked at the prospectus and dont want to do the Msc in capitol and finance as even though ive done courses in accounting and economics i just dont think my maths is strong enough. The others im thinking of are MBA, Msc in investment and treasury, Msc in investment treasury and banking and possibly masters in business management.
Basically i would prefer to do a full time course but dont want to end up doing an accounting course where id not only be bored but also the maths will end up failling me. Any help or discussion greatly appreciated...

The masters in Business Management had a common module with three other master programmes, (Marketing, and e-Commerce Business & Technical). There is a good overview of current issues with this module in the Marketing thread located here:

Your alternative options may prove to be a better choice based on what we are experiencing at the moment.

    Hi 32minutes,

DCU Business School is organising an open evening for anyone interested in studying at postgrad level so you should check it out. Its next Monday 22nd. There is also a mini-conference on the day about Doing Business in the East. You should check them both out so that you can make up your mind. check out the DCU website for more info.

As regards to the issues mentioned above, many of them have now been resolved.
