Motor Tax

    Went in to tax a car today in kilkenny but adress on tax form was for maynooth co.kildare, was told that i cant tax car from kildare in kilkenny because home adress is kildare on tax renew form. is this correct? If so does anyone know where tax office for kildare is?

    Why not tax it online, if you have got a PIN no., much easier than trying to find a Motor Tax Office.

    It is correct. I presume you don't live in Maynooth so taxing it online is useless as you won't be able to take receipt of the disc in the post.

    The tax office is in Aras Chill Dara, the large glass monument to the Celtic Tiger that Kildare Co Co built for themselves in the middle of Naas beside the Osprey Hotel. It is the worst run motor tax office I have ever been in so allow yourself plenty of time for queuing etc.

    From memory im fairly sure you can change the address when taxing online.
