The UK Civil Jurisdiction and Judgments Act 1982 deals with the enforceability of foreign freezing orders in the UK. Can anybody point me in the right direction of the equivalent legislation in Ireland?

Its the Jurisdiction of Courts and Enforcement of Judgments (European Communities) Act, 1988

...just in case anybody else ever needs it!

This Act has been superceded by the Brussels I Regulation - as regards freezing orders and other interlocutory orders they are "judgments" within the meaning of Art 32 and 33 and so must be recognised by the Irish Courts.
