I've been ringing them constantly for the past two days. I got through once and a very rude lady answered, I asked to be transferred to the computer games dept after waiting for 2 minutes nobody had picked up so i hung up in frustration (that was yday at about 2)Ever since the phone rings out or is engaged. I knew its a busy period for them but some costumer service would be nice!

I won't be down in Limerick again till tomorrow so I was wondering if anyone has been in there in the last few days or is going in there today could you tell me if they still have the Nintendo Wii bundle for 199 in stock?

Smyths are awful for customer care but you can check their website for their offers and stock levels. www.toys.ie. The toys I was looking for were out and not due in til January!!!! What a joke. Went to argos and got them,

HMV have a great WII offer on at the moment as do Game for a refurb model 129. Not Bad.

I can't seem to check its availability online! At this stage i'm just sick of them and don't want to give them my money but they have the best offer at the moment! Console + 4 games for 199!!

The one at the jetland is in the retail park up from Woodies (diectly opposite the Jetland Shopping Centre) in the corner unit. Nicer store and not as busy as Childers Road.

I worked in the Software Zone in the store on Childers Rd a few Xmas' ago. The volume on the phone is turned off, i can guarantee it

It gets too busy in there at this time of the year to try and serve customers and answer the phone. Especially when idiots queue up with trollies of toys totally ignoring the signs saying that they wont be served at the Software counter.

Got into smyths last night and picked up two wii's. Also got a pair of predator boots in jjb that were 25% off! €149.50 down to €109.50! But like the other thread the traffic layout of the place is a joke!

The wii's were €199 each with 4 games! The predator's are football boots! But I think I prefer the sound of itsdacraics version!! :D

I must apologise so as I had to do that a couple of times. Although, when I did do it there were no staff at the counters and I felt like an idiot standing around with toys and screaming kids on the way to a birthday party. I did feel bad going up to the games desk to pay for toys but what can you do if there is nobody at a checkout to serve you?

I have also been in the queue at the games desk with people in front of me with toys and I am actually purchasing a game/dvd and there have been checkouts open. That is frustrating.

So...Shame on those who queue at the games desk with toys when there are checkouts open
