You'd have more luck going to a club pro shop than a large chain for that sort of thing.

true but isn't it unlikely that without membership of said club that the pro would start shelling out a few demos??

Go to Kinsealy Grange, they (McGuirks) have quite a selection of demo clubs that you can test on the range.

Depends how you go about it, but if you were to leave a deposit or credit card etc and say can i take them to your range for 30 mins then i'd say you should be ok. Maybe get someone else to do the talking for you.

    +1

Did the same for when I got new irons, tried out about four different types and you can have them for as long as you like really. So I'd say thats your best bet.

Conno keep us informed on how the script comes on...

Pro: No problems, what club have you in mind or are you looking to replace and existing long iron?
Conno: Im looking to replace my Bay Hill 7 iron
Pro: have you tried the Bay Hill Big Kahuna Square Golf Rescue Wood
    BHBKR
Conno: No, it looks the part, can I try it?
Pro: You could, if I stocked it, which I dont.
Conno: Ok, ill be on my way and do some of my own research as to where I can try clubs at various shops or pro shops.
