    Just looking for a good mechanic in the ranelagh area, just to get a check up on my motor

    Try Pat Conlon in Grosvenor Square (01 4977734), I find him reasonably priced and efficient.

    Had a bad experience with them so wouldn't recommend using them, there is a really good guy up the lane off Ranelagh road through the arch and he's much cheaper. Its the turn before the road lockheart are on, coming from Ranelagh village
