Friend having a problem with Edge on a 2g on Meteor

Friend of mine has a 2g iPhone on Meteor, and about 2 days ago, Edge suddenly stopped working. He says he's checked the settings, and they're fine, and he's taken the sim out, and tried accessing the Internet on another handset and that worked - so it's clearly something on the phone.

He's restored the firmware too and rejailbroken it, and still has no luck with Edge. Wifi's fine. Any ideas iPhone gurus?

Reset the network setting and try again, ask him if he installed something called Pushfix that might be a problem too.

Thanks for the reply.
I'm the friend with the iPhone problem.
I did download pushfix before any of this and it worked fine, no problems with any other parts of the phone etc.
I was using the following settings for Cellular network:
APN: wap.mymeteor.ie
Username: my
Password: wap

But when i got onto Meteor today about my problem they gave me:
APN: data.mymeteor.ie
He didn't give me ant Username or Password.
He said that this was only issued on the 24th of November so maybe Meteor changed something.

Thanks for your help and i'll try to re enter the settings again.

Great if that doesn't work then try to reset network setting, that should do a trick.

There seems to be confusion over what is the correct APN settings etc.
I'll try a few and see how i get on.

I have tried all the APN settings i know of, wap, isp, data etc and no internet.
Gutted!
