playing wii on a computer monitor?

We don't have a tv but would like to get a wii for dh for christmas. Is it possible to play it on a computer monitor? Do you or anyone you know do this? If so is the picture quality good? Thanks for any help

Assuming the monitor has an analogue VGA input (looks like this) then you will need a cable like this.

Googling a combination of Wii and VGA will give you some answers, there seem to be some things on eBay that might do the job.
