Get Kitchen appliance (Dishwasher) fixed without having to pay a callout charge?

    Is it possible to avoid paying callout charges of €60 or €70 before someone will even look at a Dishwasher? (We've called Mastercare.ie and Domesticrepairs.ie adn they both seem to charge these leves without gurantee of actually fixing the problem... ). Are there others around Dublin?... surely these days...
