help me choose laptops

    can anyone help me choose two laptops.the first is to be used by my adult daughter for gaming(sims theme hospital etc)her old acer is nearly knackered she needs lots of memory.i was looking at a dell inspiron 17 widescreen for 549.i also need to get a mini for my other girl mainly for bringing to college for course workand internet mainly(she has a mac at home)budget for that up to 400.they would both like windows 7.i would appreciate any suggestions:D

    You should look for a laptop with dedicated graphics card as well :)

    the compaq as windows7 64bit,hdmi out,connects to hdtvs with hdmi cable.399.YOU can put in another 2gig ram 2bring it up gig ram.
    WWW.dell.ie has netbooks widows7 350euro approx 10inch screen.The compaq has a dvdrw drive.4 GIG ram is enough for anybody using ms office etc.Sims3 s specs are 128meg video ram on the video ,graphics card,compatible with pixel shader 2.o.I,d say the compaq would run sims3 ok .
