MD Clubs

A (left handed) lady friend wants to start golf. I saw a full set of MD ladies left handed graphite clubs on golfstoreeurope.com for €163.
Seems like a fab price for a club i've seen recommended on these forums.

2 Woods graphite shafts (Driver & Woods 3 - headcovers included)
    2 Hybrid Woods - graphite shafts (18° & 21° - headcovers included)
    7 Irons - steel shafts (5–SW)
    1 putter
    Dual shoulder strap stand bag

€163. Does this seem too good to be true? Is it a reputable site?
They are a good club aren't they???

    Z.

I have 2 x MD Clubs and can't recommend them highly enough:

A Rescue club & a 5-W - I was sceptical when the guy in the shop recommended them, but they're excellent clubs..

    +1.

They are outstanding. The wedges are as good as anything on the market, they spin like mad. The hybrids and Woods are also excellent though i've never tried the irons.

AS far as I can tell Zak all the stuff they do is of very good quality. Have a couple of their wedges and love them and would recommend MD Golf to anyone be it beginner or whatever the standard.

Thanks Billyboy, seems like it would be a great idea for my beginner friend to avail of this bargain.

Does anyone know of any golf shops who stock MD clubs. The new range of fairway woods and rescues look pretty sharp. I fancy a christmas treat.
I have a superstrong 5 wood and its top quality. Only cost 50 snots too.

I am not an employee of MD!!!:)

AFAIK they do, definitely have a stock of second hand stuff on the floor anyway

As I said in my post above I have a couple and I love them, particularly the Norman Drew wedge that I have.

Stumpy, Elmgreen have the MD clubs in their shop. They have woods, irons and wedges and can order anything you want if they don't have it in stock.

You should be able to negotiate the price down too.
