Alternative Wedding Bands

Does anyone have recommendations for a Wedding band playing more alternative/indie music? We really don't want to have a band unless it's one that we would pay to see ourselves. I suppose what we are looking for would be a really good band that just happens to play weddings rather than a 'wedding band'.
We would really welcome any recommendations? We are in Cork.

    Thanks!!!

checkout www.beatclub.ie - they feature former members of revelino and picturehouse and do a lot of rock stuff like the cure, depeche mode, smiths, stones, beatles, who, clash etc. I have worked with them many times
and they are excellent musicians and vocalists.

Alternatively, I'm a dj with a background in indie (whelans, village etc) and have done full weddings before with a rock slant. Though, I would suggest some regular wedding music for older guest to enjoy. See my sig for details!

If youre in cork, check out the cork based quantum at http://www.theband.ie/ I dont normally play outside leinster but DJ'd for a friend in cork earlier this year and they were on before me, thought they were excellent and played a great mix of the usual wedding stuff but mixed with newer indie/rock tunes, crowd were up all night.

As sweetie says Beatclub are excellent and you couldnt go wrong there.
