    tbh i'm baffled as to why you'd want it removed? it's a great way to go through your music and even if ya don't like it just don't turn your device sideways :pac:

    You can disable coverflow on the nanos if you want, but not on the iPod touch. I'd disable it given the option. I find it's more of a hindrance than anything. I'm constantly have to "shake" mine to return it from coverflow - which it seems to want to open with little provocation.

    Cover flow is awkward when lying down trying to listen to it, same goes for wattpad and other reading apps

    yeah the the only time its a hindrance is when ur lyin down, but i wouldnt want to remove it.. it looks cool anyway!

    Not perm remove, but an on/off or lock rotation would be nice

    I'd love this.. I have the ipod hooked up in the car and it goes into cover flow sometimes between songs. Very annoyin.
