Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

my car was sitting on a driveway for a few weeks and in the meantime leaked a bit of oil onto the driveway. Its not my driveway so want to clean it up good before the owner sees it.

Any tips? The leak is probably about 3-4 weeks old now....

There is some sort of cat litter type stuff that you should be able to get from big garages and motor factors.

    Dispose of it responsibly.

put sand over it then brush up the sand and keep doing this until its nearly gone. if you have a power washer give it ago after a couple of times with the sand. will go away after awhile eg a year

Shampoo apparently works well. So does Fairy Liquid

Yup i'd go with the sand to soak up the worst and then try something like fairy liquid and hot water to break down the oil :)

B&Q and Woodies sell a liquid that removes oil from driveways ask there or maybe halfords might have something that does the job.

there used to be a product called 'gunk' that you could then wash away with water.don't know if it's still on the market
