just need a few answers my mate is selling his and doesnt know a good price any ideas? and second the AV wires are missing so anyone know where he can get another set and can you use pal ones on the japanese version cheers

Look up a few guide prices on ebay, as it depends on if he's selking it with games or extra controllers or whatever. New cables can be picked up on ebay for nothing or yes a PAL one should work if you have one of them.
