Fitting a room vent for fireplace

    Hi,
I'm thinking of getting a room vent installed in my living room to supply air to the fireplace. The fireplace is a Jetmaster and can use up a lot of air. It's pulling air from around the door causing draughts across the room.

From looking at the web sites, I was thinking of fitting a 5" core drill vent (with internal baffles) on the same wall as the fireplace, about 1.5 meters from the ground. The theory being that this would supply the fire with its own supply and eliminate draughts across the room. I am alooking at something similar to the product advertised on this webpage.

    Any advice?

    Robert.
