Is this the right place on the boards to post this topic/question?

    Here's my situation.

    1)I don't own a keyboard or piano.

    2) I have some money saved and would love to get some lessons. I have always had a general interest in this instrument. Most of my mates are into Guitar and drums ect ect. None are in bands. So I do not know any keyboardists.

    3) I would be looking for a reasonable price and hours. I am asking in several other places as well and other people are checking it out for me too.

    4) Times and days? I don't know yet. We would have to discuss that via PM or email.

    5) I am living in dublin (Northside) all my life. I would be willing to travel as far as the city center or somewhere on the north side. I don't have a car.

Thanks for all helpful responces. Feel free to PM me and we get started!

Hopefully. I will be playing heart and soul by christmas:D

Please don't give me an infraction. I am new to the music boards and this thread was careless.

Can you please move or merge my question into the relevent place.

    Regards

    Hi

I live in North Dublin and will be lessons in piano/keyboard from September onwards. I wouldn't be too worried that you don't own a keyboard because you could always go to somewhere like gumtree and pick up a keyboard very cheaply until you know for sure that it's something you want to invest in.

I've completed up to grade VIII with the Royal Irish Academy of Music, hold a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music and have taught previously from very young children to adults.

I charge €15 per half hour which is the standard rate for an experienced teacher.

If you would like to get in touch please do,

    Many thanks

    Regards

    Emer O'Kelly
