Apologies if this isn't allowed in the forum, I read the charter and couldn't see anything about requests for translation help. I'm buying a camera lens from an ebay user who is using German, but is from Greece, I think he may be using an online translater, as am I, as I have no German at all. I asked him his reasons for selling the lens and this is the text I got:

    ---
    ---

Google translate is not really giving the sense of what he is saying, it would be great if someone here could use a bit more human intuition to get to the bottom of it. My best guess is that he is upgrading all his equipment, I just want to be sure that he's not saying that anything is wrong with this lens in particular.

    Thanks in advance!
    Buckie

I´m not a native, so this won´t be a perfect, but it is the meaning:

He´s saying he´s selling it because he works in photo-journalism and his colleagues don´t appreciate the particular attributes of that lense. And also, he could do with the money to change his camera.

He also says he will happily send pictures to your direct email address.

    Nothing negative, I would say.
