I'm on the lookout for a new keyboard.

    Must have/be:

    UK Layout
    Media Keys
    Back lighting on keys
Suitable for gaming (ie. can hold down more then 3 buttons at once)
    Wrist rest
Around €50 but kind of flexible

    Must not have:

Flat keys that seem to join in to one another.

    Any ideas?

I went for the lycosa myself. awesome piece of kit. Why the preference on a UK layout though? The only difference between them is really the enter key and alternated "+@.

After you get used to it, the Us layout is much nicer, well it was for me. The Arctosa is also nice if you dont need backlit keys

Noodle, thanks for the heads up on the sidewinder keyboard,

I picked up this recently http://www.peats.com/cgi-bin/catalog.cgi?view_product=1&id=23620 and I suppose I'll match i up with a gaming keyboard for the look. The mouse probably isn't the best gaming mouse in the world, but its nice and looks pretty cool. Would match the industrial look for say the HAF 932 case.

Is there such a thing as a Wireless gaming keyboard?

I'm gaming at the moment with the Sidewinder moues and Microsoft wireless entertainment keyboard 8000 - it feels ok but I still get the feeling that any oem usb keyboard would be better.

If you like those CLACKY CLACK CLACK keyboards, you know the Old IBM / Amstrad keyboards - check out this one http://www.tomshardware.com/news/das-keyboard-ultimate,9022.html

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TvCVoeiKNxk for a video review, 130 euro from Germany,

It's amazing when you look into keyboards more, people spend anything up to 500 euro on a single keyboard.

The enter key on US keyboards would be what would annoy me the most! I had one and much happier being back to a uk one now!

    got the same one myself

im sure you can get a wireless gaming keyboard but the usb keyboard will be faster responce and i think thats the whole reason they are wired. unless maybe the blue tooth keyboards.
