i have a tumble dryer not even a year old and over the last couple of weeks it's acting up. when it's on about 10 minutes the light comes on to clean filter, i stop it, take out filter but it's not dirty. there's little bits of fluff on it but nowhere near full. it's a vented dryer. any suggestions on what i can do with it?

Get the service agents responsible for fixing your brand appliance and get it fixed free of charge, since it's still under warranty.

It's possible the ventpipe is kinked or something else is blocking airflow?

This is just a guess: If it actually has a sensor to measure the build up on the filter, there might be something, like some lint, blocking or affecting the sensor causing it to misread.

thanks for all the replies, i should have replied sooner myself.
i contacted the shop where i bought it and they got the service man out. the problem was with my outside vent. i changed it to the one he recommended and dryer working fine since.
    thanks again.
