    does anybody know if the strike is going ahead yet? i am trying to sort some things out and it would be great if i knew if we are in or out on thursday.

    Still on at the moment. Heard Public Sector will be getting 20 extra days hols. Unpaid. :)

    I still haven't got an email about plans for Thursday in "myDIT" system, are you sure that the strike uis going to go ahead?

    Just spoke to a lecturer there and he says the strike is on at the moment, so looks like another "study day" for students

    This is good, I have a CA that accounts for 50% of the module
    marks on Thursday. Extra time = extra marks!

    hate to burst your bubble but it was just announced that the strike is suspended. no such luck, ah well. there is always next time.
