    4.08 for 1500m

    but am going to hammer both of them this summer, never trained for track stuff before but after Rotterdam thats the plan

    Hope to make big inroads into them this summer.

    This year was my first go at track and I was disappointed not to get my 800 time lower...having said my main focus was the mile and I felt I made good progress there.

    I clearly lack strength (I ran a 400 in 60 seconds) so Im working over the winter to address that. The 800 will be my main focus this summer though.

    I did the first lap of that 800m in 61, so some work clearly needs to be done on pacing on the track. Only ever done 10 laps of the track, and all this year, so that could be part of my problem I guess.

    Way way way back in 1994/95

    Last 800m I ran was 3:03 2 years ago, i'd go faster now, Would love to get back under 5 mins for 1500m next year.

    1500m pb 3:48

    Right now would be happy to run my 1500m time over 800m!!

    Impressive times alright, especially 800m - good enough to win Nationals most years and must be close to all-time top 50 Irish performances ?
