Negative Feedback on Ebay

I just noticed I got some negative feedback about a month ago, and it's really pissing me off. Basically, I sold a Nokia 6610i, it worked fine but the battery was completely dead, nothing a charge wouldn't fix. Sent it off to the guy, never heard back from him, and just buying some stuff there, noticed he left me rather abusive feedback calling me a scammer and a looser, claiming the phone never worked. He never even sent me a message of any kind! I've a sneaking suspicion that he just didn't bother charging it and left negative feedback straight away...

eBay will only remove feedback if it falls into a few small categories.

    This might help.

Did you say in the advert that the battery did not work? If so you can probably get the feedback removed.

It does work. Its just that it was drained. I used it extensively, never had a problem with it. There was no charger with the sale.

Did you check that the battery holds the charge properly. Maybe that is what they had issue with.

Well if the battery didn't work and the phone didn't work it probably should have been mentioned in the auction listing

Without seeing the feedback, I'd imagine it would be tough to get it removed. The buyer can just state the phone is not charging and there's not much that can be done.

Best to add him to your blocked bidder list and move on :)
