I need to order a mouse and I'm not sure what to get. I've used a Mighty Mouse for years, I'm "over" it's flaws so I wouldn't really mind another one. I'm hesitant to get a Magic Mouse as it looks like an ergonomic nightmare and I haven't had a chance to try one for an extended period. Apple seem incapable of making a great mouse but maybe I could be proven wrong. I know a few people who use Logitech mouses with Macs and swear by them.

What do you guys like? I'd like something wireless (pref. bluetooth so I don't need to hog a USB port), comfortable and something that can deal with stuff like Exposé, horizontal scrolling etc.

I have a Logitech MX Revolution - had it for ages now and am very happy with it. The side wheel is great for using with expose/dashboard/spaces, etc.

It's not quite perfect, mind you - there's a design flaw (that Logitech won't acknowledge) in which the rubber on the scroll-wheel comes loose, putting an end to the fast scrolling (although this seems to have corrected itself on mine). Also, the mac software/drivers are kinda crap - I use Steermouse instead.

I think it's been discontinued, but you should still be able to find it somewhere. Its successor seems to be the MX Performance, which is quite similar but lacks the side wheel.

I'm very tempted to get a Magic Mouse as I love the multi-touch on my MBP - it works so well and my Logitech just seems clunky in comparison. But I'm holding off until some better reviews/first-hand experience is available. I'm concerned about its reliability. I don't have much faith in Apple mice either.

I've got to recommend the Magic Mouse - the only thing it doesn't have is the middle click, to show desktop, for example, but I couldn't use anything else now.

    Agreed, it's very good.

I bought this mouse last week for 25 euro and have to say it's been very good. They have a OS X software version that is easy and simple to use. I would totally recommend Logitect.

Wouldn't really recommend going back to the mighty mouse with it's dirt attracting scroll ball - Magic mouse along with 'Bettertouchtool' is the way to go - excellent with button 3/scroll ball and most other functions assignable.

Out of interest what's the Magic Mouse like from an ergonomic (i.e. handcramps, RSI) point of view?

Nice one, thanks for all the recommendations :) I've decided to chance the Magic Mouse after all, I'll report back on how I find it.
