Yes, The Great giant spaghetti monster, in conjunction with the reverse vampires are conspiring against us. It is no way just the natural course of nature and economics that would just what they'd like you to think to fool you into a false sense of security.

Next they will be torturing us by making all light switches turn on the way they should turn off, and by making the tea spoons in the section of the cutlery tray where the forks should be.... THE HORROR oh the horror

Yes. Punished for greed and stupidity. The floods are from mother nature weeping over our ignorance.

The Henry handball -> I dont give a flying fuck about football

How about all the good things that have happend?

Hotels are cheaper, my local has started selling 3.50 pints, Were doing great in the Rugby, Limerick seems to have settled a bit, Public service are about to get a dose of reality, Loads more space as everyone is leaving, less congestion, Ques are shorter, Rents are cheaper, I'm starting to like the way this is heading... now if we could only roof the place.

    the recession -a global issue
the catholic church abuse - also a global issue
the floods - other countries get far worse flooding than we could ever imagine
the Henry handball - this one is really the only Ireland centric one, and of course there is more to life than football.

Flooding - just the result of increased rain, poor infrastructural spending and reckless planning.

Catholic Church - It's just the result of a heap of sexually repressed celibate men with too much power, no supervision and easy access to children.

Henry Handball - Just the result of the fact that cheating is seen by all (players, officials and fans alike) as being synonomous with competitiveness.

Recession - just the result of greed.

So not too much in the way of punishment if you ask me, just the repercussions of human folly.

On an end note, if we ceased trying to find higher powers to blame for our own actions, we may actually make some progress in such matters.

Yes we are being punished....by ourselves.

The recession - predictable. The government f**ked it up. We voted them back in - our own fault.
The catholic church - covered up by church, gardai +/- government. Their fault.
The floods - decades of poor planning laws and waterways mismanagement in connjunction with global warming. Our own fault.
The Henry handball. I couldn't care less.
Next - the budget. We voted em back in. Our own fault.

Mcsavage show? haven't seen or herd about it.. I can only assume it shows Mcsavage getting the crap bet out of him for an hour, as that would make good entertainment.

    Are you f**king kidding me?

Floods? Other countries get tropical hurricanes and tsunamis, our 'floods' are really just a walk in the park.

Recession? Try living in a country like Zimbabwe, currently in famine with the highest inflation level in the world.

We are the most privileged generation of a very well-to-do nation, so get over yourself.
