No lights? This is what happens

You stupid ****ing Morons, this is what you will end up like, except the air in your head will be expelled out of your crushed skull.

Buy a decent set of lights, not anything such as Teshco Valyou light sets. Or a dumbass Hi-Vis you got off your builder friend.
But a set of cat eyes. Minimum RRP of e35. Not expensive, well I suppose it is if you are a cheap skate.

    Translation for the uninitiated...

Kona has seen some cycling ninjas this evening, and is expressing his concern for their wellbeing by posting a rant with an unrelated picture of a cyclist lying down in front of a car in broad daylight.

Kona doesn't get angry - this would imply that there is some other state of mind possible. :pac:.

Can you see the common cyclist from your high moral ground.

(BTW; I cycle with enough lights to be seen at 3 miles. But I don't shout at people for not doing what I do)

I hope LBS are able to cope with the massive spike in demand for lights this thread will no doubt cause.

Looks like guy on bike hit an SUV in a parking (can see the lines) & in dalight. Not sure what I'm seeing here. Other that him having a nap.:D

Agree that cycling ninjas can be a hazard to all. I have a cat eye flashing front ligh, (not sure of name) on the back and a high vis (builder's one!). Jacket, back pack and runners also have reflective strips. So I think I'm pretty well lit up.

Would like to see 'me' from a car, to see how I look!

I took a photo of a regional road the other night, 0400 in the morning

    black.square.jpg

There are six cyclists in this picture!!

As a side note. Whenever i was driving with my mother at night she would point out cyclists without lights 100metres away and say, "look at yer man on the bike, you cant see him with no lights on".
