Looking to buy a commercial jeep/pick up, what would you guys reckon to be the best value for 6-8K?

Are you looking for a single cab pick up or a crew cab?
You can buy a single cab mitsubishi l200 (06) with relatively low mileage (less than 50k) for €7k. But it mightn't suit ya. I have one. Great for pulling or mucking around on the farm with. But if you intend regularly doing trips of 70 to 100 miles in it, then it's not the most comfortable in the world. Tough as nails though.

2002 LWB Pajero with the 3.2 DiD engine. Just check that the flywheel has been replaced.
As Reilig said, it depends on your needs. The Pajero would be better if you need a dual purpose machine (Plus it'll be better at towing) but I can see the allure of a pick-up as a purely agricultural machine.

Have a look at the pictures on the ad :):):):)

The cloth on the seats are all torn and the picture with the rear door open shows a big chunk of rust under the side step. Personally i'd let him keep it. Looks like a jeep that took a lot of abuse - he is looking for enough money for it too.

Looks a wee bit shagged alright! Ah sure, there are loads of Pajeros out there
