Having probs with the freehub on my Mavic Cosmos, showing definite signs of wear (sideways play) and starting to get noisy. My LBS says they are an old hub and different to Askiums,Ksryiums etc, and spares no longer available. The rest of the wheel is good and seems a real shame to scrap it, any advice on obtaining a new freehub or replacing the internals?

Depends on the exact model. I replaced a freehub on a Cosmic Carbone last week. It was pretty easy..

    Hi Joff,

I could have a look at it for you, I have a few spare Mavic freehub bodies here. I live in Lucan if you want to PM me?
