Weird lights in the sky

hiya

My friends boyfriend was out getting coal tonight and looked up (SW)
to see 4 orange lights that kind of hovered beside one another. He called my friend out and they saw first one disappear, then the middle two hovered to the left then went out together and around 1 min later last one went out. They said the lights seemed as far away as stars... (cause my first question was it an airplane)

now i know Air Sea Rescue was flyin about in Wexford this evening but
as we all know in Wexford Air Sea Rescue makes a hell of a racket and is usually fairly low flying

what they want to know, did anyone else see these lights or seen
anything similar??

since puttin up post have heard of others seein lights too ... from kennedy park area of wexford town...
