Keloid?

Hey guys. Got a 3rd lobe piercing and the back of it (exit wound) has a raised bump. Not too big (yet!) a bit wider than my ring. It's probably a keloid or more likely hypertropic scarring (from pics I've seen online)... My piercing is 5 weeks old. Should I take out the piercing now? Will I go to doctor or back to piercer…

Hey guys.

It's probably a keloid or more likely hypertropic scarring (from pics I've seen online)... My piercing is 5 weeks old. Should I take out the piercing now? Will I go to doctor or back to piercer or both? Will it go away with a cortisone shot? If I continue to wash with salt water will it go down? I've been lazy about cleaning it recently
