    Hey,

    I was rased by 2 of the most strong spirtied christians iv ever met, I am very well versed in the bible and pray and offer thanx all the time, but i dont feel right i still drink,smoke I do follow My loards decrees but i dont go to church or commune with other christians as any were i am are all "ned flanders" types I feel like a chicken as i should be stronger. Im 28 and have a family of my own now, my mother died wen i was 15 and haven had a strong infunce fron i was about 20, Im very confused

    Maybe you need to be both spiritually and intellectually challenged. I´ve met many a person who just don´t bother exploring their faith, nor do they apparenty let it impact their life a great deal. All too often these are the people who turn around at some point in their life and say, "you know, I don´t believe any of this anymore". The sad thing is that it´s often not through some deep investigation that they have reached this position, it´s that they have their world - a wife, job, mortgage and weekends with their friends etc. - and God seems conspicuous by his absence from it. Therefore, for them, the conclusion is that God doesn´t exist.

    Hello Brookie, do you mind me asking which faith/church you were raised in?

    Why don't you feel "right"? Is your drinking/smoking a problem? I presume you're looking for direction/inspiration? Do you read the bible? Have you ever been involved in a bible study group?

    Why the confusion? Are you finding it difficult to have a relationship with Jesus? Do you want to?
