Some interesting stats here hence the thread.

Blackpool's home stadium is a fortress - they have played 8 games at home this season in the Championship - they drew their opening 2 fixtures but since have recorded 6 home wins on the trot against excellent opposition which includes (Coventry/Newcastle & Sheffield United).

Blackpool have scored 27 goals this season in Coca Cola Championship - 17 of them goals coming at home and 16 of them in the last 6 home ties.

They have recorded 5 clean sheets in their last 7 home matches and only conceded 3 goals in total at home in their 8 matches.

Of the 6 matches they have scored first in this season they have won 5 of them (drew the other).

Preston's away record this seaon in the League reads Won 3 - Drew 2 - Lost 3.

    Blackpool to win 11/10 (ladbrokes)

Siep to score 1st 25/1 (ladbrokes)

    Back Blackpool.
Great at home, beat Newcastle there.

Good side really, and should really dispose of a team on a terrible run.

I watched Preston v Newcastle,I reckon it should have been a draw, not because PNE were good, more that Newcastle didnt look like winning for most of the game.Blackpool are an awesome home team but form book usually goes out the window in derbies as such hence odds of over Evens.Blackpool have 2 good players back in Bouazza and Demontagnac while Preston are missing Youl Mawene a key player at the back for them.Home win for me.

    You were right.

    Surprised Blackpool didn't take that!
