Hi, I bought a 32" Samsung LCD (LE32A457) last December. It worked perfectly up until a few days ago when a straight horizontal line of dead pixels appeared midway down the screen. What should I do?

Go to the shop and tell them, see if you can get it replaced. I bought a plasma a few years back with a dead pixel dead centre straight out of the box, the hassle i had getting my money back, they where telling me that 5 dead pixels is considered the norm and they wouldnt replace it for that reason, i kicked up a stink over it and they sent out a guy to my house to look at it. I got lucky the man was retiring the following week and didnt care, gave me a note to get my money back off the shop. that was in Dixons in the square, i would never buy anything in that shop again, not only is it a rip off but the staff are rude to boot.

I would only go the the shop as a last resort due to location (Belfast).

I should probably clarify that this is not a few dead pixels - it is an entire line of dead pixels horizontally across the screen.

What are my options to get it fixed/replaced? Do I contact Richer Sounds directly or Samsung?
