There are quite of number of other classic Dublin punk singles that are impossible to find either online or in real life. I think it would be a great idea to digitize as many as possible and put them online so they can be enjoyed by all. If anyone has any of the following singles lying in their attic or garage, please get in touch.

List includes Berlin, DC Nein, Revolver, Strange Movements etc..

Best to check with record companies and bands before you even attempt that.

Nice idea and good luck with that. I never thought there were that many lost DIY gems of Irish punk. The guy who compiled the 'Bloodstains Across' comp series said he looked into doing an Irish one but couldn't find enough material. He found that strange seeing as we're so near to the UK. Northern Ireland has those TWO great Bloodstains comps but not one for the Republic. Were we that safely sheltered from the Punk explosion ffs?

I've got the DC Nein single. Used to go see them in the Baggot. Great live band. I may have already digitised it , but if not I can organise to do it and scan artwork etc.

quality blog OLP. would like to see more old dublin punk/metal around the filesharing networks myself, i reckon they'd like their stuff heard n spread about the globe sooner than rights/profit aka going undiscovered in a select few irish outlets. i discovered so much '80s wave through this method i'd otherwise never have been aware of

Ah it's nothing to do with me I can't take credit for it. Another guy who posts on http://thumped.com/bbs/forumdisplay.php?f=14 set it up and looks after it.
