Electric Storage Heating

Hi Guys

My apartment has storage heating -not my first choice in heating but however...

I cannot work the damn thing and i am freezing cold

I have a Dimplex FLX model but I do not have a manual or a control pannel I have tried calling them but i get fobbed off with an "ill call you back"

I do however have an input and output control on the heater i have tried playing around with these but still only get a puff of heat and thats it!!!

Any ideas on how to get some heat out of them I cant spend another night in the freezing cold

I havn't heard of FLX but clx is a combination storage heater , input up full 6 output closes or at 1 ( the output is just a damper flap that releases the heat faster from the heater)
