    Hi guys,

Probably a very basic question, but I'm a novice. :o

Just took delivery of my new Rancilio Silvia and Rocky grinder set last week, and am having great fun trying to create the perfect espresso. (Went through a bag of beans at the weekend!).

One thing I can't figure out is how to remove the basket from the portafilter (I'm not sure exactly if that's what they're called, hope it makes sense).

When you put it in, it kind of snaps/clicks into place. Any Silvia owners out there tell me how I take it back out? :o

    Thanks

Not sure about the silvia but on the Gaggia ones I've used there is a Metal spring thingum midway down the basket to applies enough pressure to hold the basket in place. I use either the end of a tea spoon or other flat edged tool (Screwdriver) and gently move along popping it up until the spring is widthdrawn.

That said, I'm only using Gaggia PF's :D
