    Hi,

looking into buying a GPS system for myself. I was wondering which one is the best value. I will mainly be using it for training for a summer marathon, and also all the other races between now and June. I really dont have a set budget but I think around €150 - €200 would be the most I would pay.

    Any opinions would help!

Hmm... Best value is one of those things that really depends on what you're looking for.
If you don't have any specific requirements, e.g. small size, waterproof, battery life, then try and pick up a new 305 on eBay for around 100-150 euro. If size is an issue then try and find a Garmin 405 for around 200 euro or less.

I don't have any experience of non-Garmin models. And I'm still not a Garmin employee, despite all appearances to the contrary.
