Can I get student discount AND VAT back?

Greetings,

Anyone know if I can use student discount on the apple website and also claim VAT back?

Don't see why not. A company I used to work for was entitled to a discount as ADC members and they claimed the VAT back too. I don't think Apple would care whether or not you claimed the VAT.

Why? it's nothing to do with them, it's between you and the tax man. You still pay the VAT to apple.

You can claim the VAT back if you're VAT registered and it's a legitimate business expense. The revenue don't care whether or not you managed to convince Apple you are a student.

I tried to get it earlier on in the year and I couldn't.

Just bought up North in the end, still was cheaper without my student up north then with it down here.
