Every time I turn on my laptop the screen starts up as 14inch screen when the laptop itself is a 15 inch screen.

Im guessing that its a driver problem and I need to install the driver for it.

How do I install the display driver using linux mint. I have downloaded the driver the the toshiba laptop Im not sure where to go next

Type Hardware Drivers into the menu and see what comes up.

Select the latest driver version and click activate, it'll download and install the driver, then restart laptop.

ATI or nVidia? It's possible there's problems with the laptop or graphics card itself and just isn't supported, search on ubuntu or mint forums and see if others have trouble.
