Philips Net TV - live sport streaming?

    Hi,
I've recently purchases a Philips 9000 series with NET tv. It is possible to surf the net plus watch some optimised sites like YouTube. This would suggest that there is a built in Flash player on the tv. However when I try to view sites like Justin.tv or p2p4u.net to view live streaming of sports, I just get a blank square where the streaming should be with a message saying plug-in content. Can someone please tell me how I can get this to work as it would be a great if I could get the streaming to work on the tv

    thanks
    Niall

Careful talking about not legal streams of sporting events

Does anyone know if the RTE player works on this Net TV?
I pay my TV licence so I'm perfectly entitled to access this, if so I will more than likely get one of these TV's.
    Any opinions?

Maybe the good people at the Richersounds area on boards.ie might be able to throw some light on this as they exclusively sell Philips sets in Dublin.

No, you currently can't download anything like flash or applets or exe's to play streaming content. Its a pain. Only works for YouTube. Plus its chronically slow aswell so I rarely use it. Apparently Philips are working on updates which hopefully will address these issues.
